Donnelly is nestled on the cusp of the Blackwood River Valley and the Southern Forests regions and an easy drive through the forest to the charming Bridgetown, Nannup and Manjimup townships, where famous regional festivals such as the Bridgetown Blues and the Manjimup Cherry Blossom Festivals happen each year.

Donnelly is also the mid-point of the world famous Bibbulmun Walking Track and Munda Biddi mountain bike trail - extraordinary ways to experience the natural beauty of Western Australia.

The region is bursting at the seams with experiences that will delight and inspire and we recommend you have a good look at these websites if you want to plan your holiday in advance.

Alternately, keep it spontaneous. Settle into your Donnelly cottage, then come to the General Store and pick our brains for local insights and advice each day.

Bibbulmun walkers can take a mid-way break at Donnelly and take advantage of our linen service for a good night's sleep. 

Hikers also have some simpler facilities available to them in the village including:

• Bunk accommodation in the old school with access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities
• Free shelter accommodation outside the school in the old bike shelters.
• Use of the barbeques and camp-fires except for during fire restrictions.

The General Store stocks many items just for walkers. We can also pick up your mail packages and keep them in the General Store for up to two weeks from the arrival date marked on the package. 

Send packages C/O Donnelly Village, Community Mail Bag, Manjimup, WA, 6258 with your name clearly marked and expected arrival date. We collect mail from Manjimup once a week. 

Sorry there is no free style camping in the Village.

Munda Biddi Trail

The Munda Biddi Trail is a world class off-road cycling trail that makes its way right through Donnelly Village.

As with the Bibbulmum walkers, trail riders can book into our cottages, or use the bunk accommodation or shelters.

From Donnelly Village there are excellent opportunities for sectional return rides to Nannup or Manjimup, and there are also a number of shorter cycle loop options into the forested surrounds. Mountain Bike trail maps are available from the General Store.
